On June 12, 2026, the Festival of Autochthonous and Local Wine Varieties took place in Tabor. Organised by the Vipava Valley Wine Consortium, the event gathered around 70 guests for an expert round table, a 5-course gourmet lunch by HIT chefs, and a guided tasting of 14 local wines.
The Municipality of Nova Gorica (MONG), in cooperation with the Tourism Board Nova Gorica and Vipava Valley and the Vipava Valley Wine Consortium, has officially announced the results of the public tender for the Mayor's Wine of Nova Gorica 2026.
The Municipality of Nova Gorica selected the winners for the Mayor's Wine 2025 competition in Tabor. Evaluated from 28 local samples, top honors went to Vina Colja (Sparkling & Autochthonous Pinela), Kmetija Barkola (White Chardonnay), and Kmetija Kraljič (Red Cuvee & Cabernet Sauvignon).
The Municipality of Nova Gorica selected the winners for the Mayor's Wine 2024 tender in Preserje. Evaluated from 36 samples by expert juries, top honors went to Vina Colja (Sparkling), Čebron family estate (White), Posestvo Berce (Autochthonous), and Kmetija Barkola (Red).
The consortium is a partner of the Enotur2 project. As part of the project, the Consortium participates in the development of the viticulture and wine tourism potential of the lower Vipava Valley.

In wine-growing places, including Dornberk, the blessing of wine took effect on the day of his birthday on 27 December. The wine blessing ceremony was held at the very high-profile baptism of wine at Sv. Martin's day, almost dead. It has been preserved in our village, however.
The rules on production consist of three technological pillars: viticulture, oenology and biodiversity.
